Clarity and Connection Retreat:
September 20-22, 2013 at Butler Greenwood Plantation, St. Francisville, LA
Do you crave time alone to hear yourself think? Do you believe that if you just had some solitude that you could finally get things straight? Do you daydream about hiking quietly amidst waterfalls and butterflies, all of your daily worries melting away?
Well, dream no more! I’ve created this Clarity and Connection retreat just for you (and me!), and there will be waterfalls and butterflies, guaranteed! And plenty of time for you to rest, rejuvenate, relax, restore, and then rev up for whatever you want to refresh in your life.
Clarity –you’ll get clear about
- how to say yes to what you want and say no to what you don’t and how to really know the difference
- what’s next and best for you and how to dissolve the obstacles that seem to be in your way
- how to be happier and calmer every day, no matter what’s happening around you
Connection- you’ll connect with
- your inner voice – the one you can’t hear so well when your days are “crazy-busy”
- the natural world- you’ll learn the power of wordlessness and how to bring it into your regular life
- fabulous like-minded women on a path to greatness, just like you!
Location: beautiful Butler Greenwood Plantation with its extensive grounds, scores of live oak trees and sunken gardens.
Retreat highlights:
Friday evening:
Poolside cocktails and conversation; setting our intentions
Saturday:
– Breakfast in your B&B cottage
– Getting Clarity
– Wordless hike amidst the bluffs and beautiful waterfalls of Clark Creek Natural Area, with yummy customized hiker lunch.
– Afternoon free time, nap time, planning time, reading time, pool time or exploring downtown St. Francisville.
– Poolside dinner grill and chill or optional dinner on your own.
– Guided visualization and nighttime wordless walk.
Sunday:
– Breakfast in your B&B cottage
– assembling your plan to bring your new clarity and connection to “real world”.
Bonus! You’ll also receive one post-retreat one-on-one coaching session (included with the retreat) that you can schedule at your convenience to help you solidify your new plans, and support you if you’re stuck.
This retreat is the perfect mix of time to connect with fellow wise women and time to recharge and really hear your own inner wisdom. You won’t be scheduled every second going from one activity to the next. And this location is one of the most beautiful places I know in Louisiana. The ancient moss-draped oaks on the grounds of Butler Greenwood are breathtaking, and you’ll love the mossy fern-edged sandy bottomed creeks and waterfalls on our wordless hike.
All inclusive! Lodging, food, programming, plus a post-retreat coaching session: $497
$99 holds your spot, balance due September 1, 2013 – Yay!

“This is not a stressful, bare-your-soul-to others thing. It’s a safe place to be with others on the same journey as you are.”

Additional details:
Lodging is included in beautiful eclectic cottages at Butler Greenwood Plantation. Each participant will have her own bedroom and her own bath. B&B cottages have lots of living space indoors and out – porches, couches, swings, hammocks. We’ll have the beautiful Pool Pavilion for communal space, and the pool is all ours in the evenings!
Continental breakfast is included and each cottage has a full kitchen. On Saturday evening, you can opt to have dinner on site on your own in your cottage, or with the group around the poolside grill (bring your favorite grilling item or enjoy veggie and shrimp kabobs provided; sides and drinks also provided) or on your own in St. Francisville.
Participants should be in good health and able to hike for 3-4 miles including a half mile downhill and a half mile uphill, as well as some moderately strenuous climbing over and under and around downed trees and boulders. Be prepared to be challenged and get muddy on the waterfall hike!
No special supplies needed – consider bringing hiking shoes or Keen/Teva style shoes you can use for walking in the creek (you will have wet feet) and walking on land. Bring clothes for warm days and warmish/cool nights. All B&B cottages have air conditioning. Participants will receive more detailed information about directions, what to bring, etc.
Check your calendar and if it looks like a good fit, I hope you’ll make time for yourself and join us. You will be so glad you did!

Carla’s coaching earlier this year gave me a second wind, clarity and courage to look deeper and to move forward. An opportunity to have a weekend of wisdom with Carla much less a bunch of wise women is an experience that can’t be missed. I wish I could join you all!! Have fun…sign up!!
