Resources

Here are some of my most-favorite resources.  Check back every once in a while – I add new ones all the time!

Mary Oliver – New and Selected Poems – here you’ll find “The Summer Day” – the beautiful poem that has the line about your wild and precious life.  And you’ll find many more poems to get you outside looking at the beauty and lessons nature has to offer.

Thich Nacht Han – Peace is Every Step – sweetly written, concise reminders of how to bring peace into our everyday life.

Robert Grudin – Time and the Art of Living – pithy musings on time and how it tricks us, cajoles us, and confuses us, and how we can stop letting time get in our way of having a rich life.

Martha Beck – The Joy Diet, Finding Your Own North Star, Steering By Starlight and Finding Your Way in a Wild New World – Martha has a gift.  Her writing is humorous, smart, and most of all, her methods work!

Jill Badonsky -The -Awemanac – A Daily Dose of Wonder – I love the Awemanac for a fun creative little kick in the seat of the pants – full of inspiration, quotes and goodies to get you started every day!

Sarah Ban Breathnach Simple Abundance – a classic – this book of daily meditations is as good today as when it was written in the early 1990s.  I’m going through it again this year and loving every entry.
